Prevalent in Architectural design is the combination of two pack polyurethane doors and timber veneer. The range of veneers is staggering. Many Architects combine the beautiful natural finish of a dark timber veneer on the base cabinets with a lighter poly on the overhead cabinets. Our veneer doors are coated in clear satin two pack poly for protection and our poly colour range is unlimited as we can match to any colour you choose.
Combining different finishes in the bench top is also being more recently requested. Lighter stone is combined with stainless steel or a striking natural granite or marble bench. Two colours in the same door finish are possible too. Colour matching the doors to the walls or glass splash backs is also possible should you wish. The combinations are endless.
Combining finishes due to budget is also an intelligent way to maximize the return on an investment property rather than over capitalizing on a kitchen you will never use. Combining the more expensive stone bench tops to the very reasonably priced melamine doors is a great way to achieve a smart looking, high quality kitchen that will help sell your property. Ask our Designers for suggestions on finishes, not only for investment properties but rental properties as well.
The biggest request from clients is the ability for Art of Kitchens to manufacture cabinets to their exact custom specification. The kitchen industry is dominated by companies that design modular kitchens or if they do design a custom kitchen at a client’s insistence, it will quote it at premium price.
