Art of Kitchens was the winner of the 2008 HIA NSW Best Kitchen in a Display Home Award.

When Art of Kitchens was approached to fit out Meadowbank Homes’ new display home with a kitchen, David Bartlett and his experienced team knew they would have to deliver a sophisticated and functional space to blend with the rest of the interior. Attention to detail has resulted in outstanding features within the design. The kitchen’s sleek lines complement the smooth textures of the polyurethane paint, timber veneer, stone and glass.
Recessed halogen lighting under the overhead cabinets and sizeable island bench add a touch of elegance, reflecting against the glass backdrop. David has drawn inspiration from nature to develop an earthy palette to bring the outside into the home. The contrasting tones of the timber drawer fronts add interest to the scheme.
Drawers have been used extensively in the design and provide excellent storage. Integrated and built-in appliances, as well as a hidden walk-in pantry, make the area an entertainer’s delight. The use of a roller screen quickly hides everyday appliances from unexpected visitors while maintaining the open, streamlined look of the kitchen.
Installed with state-of-the-art appliances and featuring the best innovations from Blum, this kitchen promises superior organisation and the best in serviceability. KYB
